Is Bookmaker.com in trouble????

There's a thread on another site that says bookmaker is paying slow and there are rumors of a shutdown with assets frozen, like happened with the poker sites.

Bookmaker is one of the biggest (owned by CRIS). If they are frozen out, it will be the death of online gambling.

Anyone know anything???????????????????

Geez! I just made a deposit there. Why would it be the end of online gambling? Poker offshore isn't dead just because they nailed a few sites. Did making deposits stop when ******** got nailed? NO! Did offshore gaming die when Pinnacle bit the dust for USA gamblers? NO! So why would the offshore books cease to exist if Bookmaker went down to USA gamblers? It wouldn't.

I asked for withdrwals from 6 books on the 18th. Two books already sent me checks Bookmaker & 5Dimes. That certainly is not slow pay!!!!!

Receiving checks is one thing. Having them clear and not bounce later is another.

If as big a site as this shut down and stiffed customers, who would continue to put money into any site? And, anyomne depositing money into an online poker site right now is nuts as the government seems determined to freeze all funds.

If people can't get theire money out, yes it will kill online gambling. Tell me you wouldn't freak if you lost ten thousand dollars. All I'm asking is whether anybody has heard any thing. I haven't mentioned the other site that has the thread because it's against the rules here. I am merely wondering if there is something to this

What type of site was it that you heard that bookmaker was slow paying??? I havent heard anything about bookmaker having troubles anywhere.

If it was some tout site or just some sports site someone put up , or even one of these flakier forums, I wouldn't put much credence in what they have to say. I promise you if cris, bookmaker, dsi have any troubles it would be in the sports forums and sports gambling media everywhere.

If bookmaker closes shop, I think the industry is basically done. It will still be around but it will suffer immensely..

I used to leave 50k offshore and never thought about it for a second (talking when Neteller was around) - now I im using 2 books via agents/credit - but yeah, if Bookmaker/Oly/5D or Pinny were to go under I would never post up again - I'm still waiting to get paid in full by ABC and it's been a over a year

I can remember having as much as 75K spread out among 10 books but not anymore. In fact now when I;m not playing much I think I only left 3K or so in my accounts.
